Barrel sauna kit delivered to Dublin

Mild, breezy and damp

Dublin has a mild maritime climate with frequent rain and wind off the Irish Sea. A sauna with thick spruce walls and a stove works in all of that, and the barrel roof sheds the wet.

Suburban gardens and the coast

Much of Dublin is semi-detached suburbs with rear gardens, from Lucan to Swords. The 2 m barrel fits modest gardens; the 3 m barrel suits bigger south-side and Wicklow-edge plots. In Howth, Dalkey and Bray, a glass back wall frames the sea.

Delivery and assembly in Dublin

The pallet arrives by lorry with a tail-lift, to the kerb or drive. Production takes 4 to 6 weeks, and delivery about a week. Two adults carry the parts and finish in about two days. Our crew assembles from 1 390 €.

Prices include 23% Irish VAT.

Choosing a model in the capital

For a typical Dublin back garden, the 2 m barrel with a small terrace is a popular choice: a bench by the door gives a place to cool down in the open air. For larger south-county gardens the 3 m barrel is more comfortable for a group.

The kit comes with detailed instructions. Choose a wood-fired or electric stove from our list.

Small gardens and good neighbours

Dublin houses often sit close together. Place the stove side away from the neighbour, keep the flue height in mind, and tell them about your plans before the lorry arrives. A short conversation avoids surprises.

An electric stove has no smoke at all, which helps in tight suburban rows.

Wood or electric in the suburbs

In a dense suburb, an electric stove avoids smoke entirely. In a bigger garden, a wood-fired stove with outside stoking is a lovely choice.

Permission

Small garden structures may be exempt, but size and position matter. Please check with Dublin City Council or your county council.
