After surf and hill walking

Sligo has surfers, hill walkers and swimmers, and a sauna is the natural next step after a cold day outdoors. Hang wet gear to dry on the porch or terrace and warm up inside.

The panoramic glass wall can face Benbulben or the sea if your plot allows.

Under Benbulben

Sligo is dominated by the flat-topped mass of Benbulben, and plots with that view are common around the town. A barrel sauna with a glass back wall lets you sit on the bench and look out at it.

The weather changes quickly, so many customers add the small terrace, which gives a covered space for towels, shoes and a short rest between rounds.

Safety and good habits

Keep the stove area clear of anything flammable, never dry clothes on the stove, and drink water between sessions. If you swim in cold water between rounds, take care on the way: the Atlantic around Sligo can be colder and rougher than it looks, so only swim where locals recommend.
